So, on this note, I would like to say I have taken up Yoga!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis painting is me dipping back into my roots to see if anything from my 15 year old self being taught by an amazing, talented old college lecturer (and later friend Ian Lowe) on a Tuesday night; how to use only a pencil, with my mom in tow. I was way too young to attend such a class, and I feel I need to say at this point; I obviously got the creative gene from her.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis special time was amazing and so important to me, as I was struggling in formal education. I didn’t fit in there; but here - I did! It was such a gift to finally be able to breathe, learn, understand and appreciate form and traditional techniques.
